The goal of this surgery is the reconstruction of the hymen. Hymen could be break after extreme exercise, accident of falling down, sports injury, masturbation and physically after the first intercourse. Cultural, religious, or social reasons predominate when this surgery is contemplated. Hymenoplasty performed to make the patient appear virginal. It works for women who have not had vaginal deliveries. We can perform this procedure in out patient basis under local anesthesia with some sedation or under general anesthesia. Doctor Bader uses Laser and Radiofrequency devices. With using these hi technology devices, we take advantage to perform extremely precise incisions into the vagina and remnants of the hymeneal ring to bring them into close approximation to allow delicate sutures to hold the tissues in place. Once healed, the act of sexual intercourse can result in bleeding when the hymen is torn or stretched. With Dr Bader technique the hymen will stay closed as long as you dont have any sexual activity. The hymen will be revasculate and this means you will have bleeding during your first next sexual intercourse and the hymen will not be show reconstructed. This operation needs one hour to be performed, no need for stay in the hospital and you can go back to your job even the next day. Sexual activity could start 5 weeks after the surgery.
